GDTech is partner of the SHARP project (Grant Agreement n° 101300447) awarded by the European Commission, in the frame of European Defence Fund.
The project aims to mature key technologies that will underpin the next generation of advanced and cost-effective rotorcraft engines.
The project addresses scalable technologies across all power ranges and architectures ensuring adaptability to the choices of European nations in future rotorcraft development. As a cornerstone for the next-generation military rotorcraft, the European Next Generation Helicopter Engine (ENGHE) will be essential to guaranteeing Europe’s operational autonomy. SHARP will identify dependences on external procurement, with the ambition to eliminate those entirely for a future engine.
