GDTech France is an SME specializing in design, engineering, and consulting for industry, a specialized Tier 1 supplier to the transport and energy sectors, and a distributor of simulation software. GDTech France offers the opportunity to grow within an innovative SME through the acquisition of technical expertise and personal development via multiple projects in direct contact with its clients.
To support its development in multiphysics systems simulation, GDTech France is looking for an engineer for its Software Department.

Descriptionof the role

As part of the deployment of our services, we are looking for an engineer to undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Participate in multiphysics system and product development projects: hydromechanical, pneumatic, thermal, particularly focused on hydrogen applications
  • Model and simulate these systems, choose working hypotheses, and analyze results
  • Document and leverage work and implement modeling practices that align with the different stages of product development, in conjunction with MBSE
  • Perform various tasks within the development cycle: functional analysis, specifications and test management, results analysis and model correlation, writing synthesis and qualification reports
  • Manage and develop client relationships by being positioned as one of the preferred technical interfaces for the company’s competence center
  • Opportunity to participate, after training and certification, in after-sales support and training activities for our clients who have adopted software distributed by GDTech
  • Opportunity to evolve towards pre-sales activities in support of the sales team responsible for software solution distribution
  • Work in close collaboration with the GDTech France technical team.

You will be integrated into GDTech France’s Engineering and Digital Services Department to be trained and develop the necessary skills to meet our clients’ needs. You will therefore work in close collaboration with the company’s engineers and technicians to integrate the acquired skills and working methods.

Profiledesired

With an engineering degree or equivalent, you have initial industrial experience related to:

  • The energy and transport sector
  • And/or around hydrogen systems, fuel cells, and electrolyzers
  • And/or around battery systems
  • And/or around hydraulic systems.

You have a strong grasp of physical principles and a good command of 0D/1D simulation tools such as AMESim, Matlab-Simulink, GTsuite, Modelica (or equivalent), which are essential for this role. Knowledge of thermal fluidic or mechatronic systems and equipment can be an asset.
Beyond your technical skills, you must demonstrate strong adaptability, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach. You have a strong sense of priorities and responsibilities, and ideally, you have experience in project management. You are thorough and self-motivated. These qualities will make you the guarantor of our success.
