Contextof the role

The Design Engineer is central to the design of a part and/or the analysis of a technical subject.

They are responsible for the execution and/or management of the various aspects involved in a project: requirements analysis, 3D design, mechanical verification, drafting, progress meetings, report writing, interaction with clients and suppliers, handling non-conformities…

Given their multidisciplinary nature, the Design Engineer collaborates with the CAD and analysis departments, but also with external partners. They ensure that the different methods used result from a scientific, rigorous, and validated approach.

Descriptionof the role

As a Design Engineer, you may be required to use the following software:

  • Samcef, LS-Dyna (analysis solver)
  • Abaqus, NX, Hyperworks (integrated meshing, solver, post-processing solution)
  • CATIA, Creo (design software)
  • Office Suite (office software)
  • Windows and/or Linux

Familiarity with some of this software and English are assets. However, we understand that as a recent graduate, you may not have acquired all these skills yet.

To support your integration into the team, we therefore offer training and support from our existing team members! Over time, you will be entrusted with projects to take on more comprehensive responsibility for them, including client and/or team management.
