GDTech is also highly active in R&D projects, acting as a project leader, partner, or subcontractor.
GDTech Belgium is an SME based in Alleur, in the Liège region. Its engineering office provides a stimulating environment dedicated to numerical simulation, offering the opportunity to develop unique technical expertise.
Descriptionof the role
As part of the development of its 0D/1D Systems Modeling Team, GDTech Belgium is looking for a Chemical Engineer or a graduate with a degree in Chemistry, with a strong interest in numerical modeling, particularly system modeling involving industrial processes.
You will be responsible for:
- Creating models using the Simcenter gPROMS environment.
- Developing customized modules for specific chemical processes.
- Integrating multiple modules into a more comprehensive system.
- Coordinating with GDTech’s other teams to provide the model with more accurate and comprehensive data.
- Writing reports presenting the results to clients.
- Interacting with clients and partners to establish the link between the physical system and the numerical model.
Profiledesired
Profiles:
- Chemical Engineer
- Master’s degree in Chemistry
Required Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of industrial processes
- Knowledge of 0D/1D modeling
- Knowledge of Simcenter gPROMS and/or Aspen
Language Skills:
- Technical English
